Hygassos was a town of theRhodian Peraea inancient Caria, that was inhabited in theHellenistic period.[1] The name does not appear in inscriptions, but thedemonym (Ancient Greek:Ὑγασσέως) occurs frequently in ancient epigraphy.[2]
Its site is located on Losta Bay,Bozburun Peninsula,Asiatic Turkey.[1][3]
