Hydroxynefazodone is aphenylpiperazinecompound and a majormetabolite of theantidepressantnefazodone.[1][2][3] It has similarbiological activity and a similarelimination half-life (1.5 to 4 hours)[1] to those of nefazodone, and may contribute significantly to its effects.[2][3]
