Hydro-lyase

Hydro-lyases (EC 4.2.1) are a type ofenzyme.^[1] Aslyases, hydro-lyases cleave variouschemical bonds by means other thanhydrolysis andoxidation. Examples of specific hydro-lyases includecarbonic anhydrase (EC 4.2.1.1) andfumarase (EC 4.2.1.2).
