Town of ancient Caria

Hydissus orHydissos (Ancient Greek:Ὑδισσός),[1]Hydisus orHydisos (Ὑδισός),[2] orHydissa (Ὕδισσα)[3] was a town ofancient Caria, situated south ofMylassa.[3][4] Hydissus was apolis (city-state) and a member of theDelian League.[2]

Its site is located nearKaracahisar,Muğla Province,Turkey.[5][6]
