Huwayr al-Turukman (Arabic:حوير التركمان,romanized: Hūwaer al-Tūrūkman); also known asHuweir is aSyrian village located in theAwj Subdistrict of theMasyaf District inHama Governorate. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS), Huwayr al-Turukman had a population of 1,003 in the 2004 census.[1] Its inhabitants are predominantlyTurkmens.[2]
