Huslia Airport (IATA:HSL,ICAO:PAHL,FAALID:HLA) is a state-owned public-use airport located one nautical mile (1.85 km) east ofHuslia, a city inYukon-Koyukuk Census Area,Alaska,United States.[1]
Huslia Airport covers an area of 203 acres (82 ha) at anelevation of 220 feet (67 m) abovemean sea level. It has onerunway designated 3/21 with agravel surface measuring 4,000 by 75 feet (1,219 x 23 m).[1] This replaced the former runway, which had the same designation and measured 3,000 by 60 feet (914 m × 18 m).[2]
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letterlocation identifier for theFAA andIATA, this airport is assignedHLA by the FAA[1] andHSL by the IATA[3] (which assignedHLA toLanseria Airport inLanseria,South Africa[4]). The airport'sICAO identifier isPAHL.[5]
