Hunayn (Arabic:حنين) is a location in theHijaz,Saudi Arabia, close to the city ofTa’if. It is located betweenMecca and Ta’if in theSarawat Mountains.[1]

The location, on the Road from Meccah to Ta’if Road, is a wide aridvalley surrounded bybarren, rocky mountains.[2] TheBattle of Hunayn took place here.[3][4]
