Hulu Besut is a state constituency inTerengganu,Malaysia, that has been represented in theTerengganu State Legislative Assembly.^[1]

The state constituency was first contested in 1959 and is mandated to return a single Assemblyman to the Terengganu State Legislative Assembly under thefirst-past-the-post voting system.

According to theGazette issued on 30 March 2018, the Hulu Besut constituency has a total of 11 polling districts.^[3]
