Htanthi mont (Burmese:ထန်းသီးမုန့်;pronounced[tʰáɴðímo̰ʊɴ],lit. 'toddy palm cake') is a traditional Burmese snack ormont. It bears resemblance to the Chinesefa gao.
This snack is a steamedrice cake made of pulverised cooked rice orrice flour,coconut milk,baking soda,sugar, and the pulp of slightly fermentedtoddy palm andcoconut fruits, and then garnished with coconut shavings.[1][2][3]
