TheHouston Havoc are a professionalultimate team based inHouston, Texas. The Havoc compete in theUltimate Frisbee Association (UFA) as a member of the South Division.[1]

History

On November 18, 2022, the UFA announced that an expansion team based in Houston was slated to join the league in 2023. The team would share a stadium with theHouston SaberCats ofMajor League Rugby. The Havoc's founding came after the UFA lost two teams, theTampa Bay Cannons and theOttawa Outlaws.[2]

With the departure of the Cannons and the Outlaws, the UFA was left with 23 teams. The league had originally planned to bring a team to Houston in 2024, but it was decided that these plans would come to fruition one year sooner. The Havoc played their inaugural game against theAustin Sol on April 29, 2023.[3]

For the 2023 season, the Havoc had a record of 2-10 and finished 4th in the South Division.[4]
