Hosanger is a village inOsterøy municipality inVestland county,Norway. The village is located along theOsterfjorden on the northern shore of the island ofOsterøy. The village is 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) north of the municipal centre ofLonevåg and about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) southwest ofFotlandsvåg.
The village was theadministrative center of the oldHosanger municipality which existed from 1838 until 1964.Hosanger Church is located in the village.
