Horse Head Island (Greenlandic:Appalersalik, old spelling:Agpalersalik) is an uninhabitedisland inAvannaata municipality in northwesternGreenland.

Geography

Horse Head Island is an outlying island inTasiusaq Bay, an indentation ofBaffin Bay in the north-central part ofUpernavik Archipelago. The closest island isTuttorqortooq Island in the east.[1]
