Horqin Right Middle Banner (Mongolian script:ᠬᠣᠷᠴᠢᠨ ᠪᠠᠷᠠᠭᠤᠨ ᠭᠠᠷᠤᠨ ᠳᠤᠮᠳᠠᠳᠤ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ;Chinese:科尔沁右翼中旗) is abanner in the east ofInner Mongolia, China, borderingJilin province to the east. It is under the administration ofHinggan League. The localMongoliandialect isKhorchin Mongolian. The banner spans an area of 15,613 square kilometers in area, and has a population of 207,380 as of 2020.[2][1]
"Horqin" inMongolian translates to "archer".[1] The area was also historically known as theTüsheet Banner (ᠲᠦᠰᠢᠶᠡᠲᠦ ᠬᠣᠰᠢᠭᠤ,Chinese:图什业图旗).[1]
It bordersHorqin Right Front Banner andTuquan County to the north,Tongyu County andTaonan inJilin Province to the east,Horqin Left Middle Banner to the south, andJarud Banner,Huolinguole andEast Ujimqin Banner to the west.[1]
The banner's main rivers include theHolin Gol [zh], theObor Hund Gol [zh], theEmtin Gol (额木庭郭勒), and theWunugeqi Gol (乌努格其河).[3]
The average annual temperature is 5.6 °C, and the annual precipitation is typically between 350 and 400 mm.[3]

A segment of theJin Dynasty Great Wall [zh] runs through the banner.[3] TheJin Dynasty city of Tule Mod (吐列毛) was located in the banner, and its ruins of the city still exist within the banner.[3]
Horqin Right Middle Banner was established in 1636.[1]
