Hope! – Das Obama Musical (English:Hope! - The Obama Musical) is a Germanmusical inspired by thepersonal life and career ofU.S. President Barack Obama, from his time inChicago,Illinois, until the2008 U.S. presidential election.^[1]^[2] The show premiered on January 17, 2010, atFrankfurt's Jahrhunderthalle, a 2,000-seat venue.^[3]^[4] It is believed to be the first stage production portraying the life of a U.S. president while he is still serving in office.^[1]
