TheHolland Tract is an island in theSacramento–San Joaquin River Delta.[2][3] It is part ofContra Costa County,California, and managed byReclamation District 2025.[4][5][6][7][8][9] Its coordinates are37°59′55″N121°36′08″W / 37.99861°N 121.60222°W /37.99861; -121.60222 (Holland Tract)[1], and theUnited States Geological Survey measured its elevation as 7 ft (2.1 m) in 1981.[1] It appears on a 1952United States Geological Survey map of the area.[10]
Most of the island is owned by theMetropolitan Water District of Southern California.[1]
