Hohovica (pronounced[ˈxoːxɔʋitsa]) is a small settlement northwest ofGabrovka in theMunicipality of Litija in centralSlovenia. The area is part of the traditional region ofLower Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in theCentral Sava Statistical Region; until January 2014 the municipality was part of theCentral Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]
Archaeological finds in the area, dating to theIron Age, point to the possible site of ahill fort on Gradišče Hill in the southeastern part of the settlement.[3]
