TheHigh Point Panthers baseball team representsHigh Point University, which is located inHigh Point, North Carolina. The Panthers are anNCAA Division Icollege baseball program that competes in theBig South Conference. They began competing in Division I in 2000 and joined the Big South Conference the same season.
The High Point Panthers play all home games on campus atGeorge S. Erath Field. Over their 24 seasons in the Big South Conference, they have played in 19 Big South Tournaments, advancing to the finals twice and winning once in2024.
Since the program's inception in 1933, four Panthers have gone on to play inMajor League Baseball: infielderDick Culler and relief pitchersCody Allen,Jaime Schultz andAndre Scrubb.
