Hermann Stessl (born 3 September 1940) is an Austrian formerfootball player and coach.
Born inGraz, Stessl played forGrazer AK,[1] starting his first team career in 1957.[2]
Stessl coachedFC Zürich[3] Grazer AK,[4]Austria Wien,[5]AEK Athens,FC Porto,Austria Salzburg[6] andBoavista.
With Austria Wien, he won four Austrian football championships in1978,1979,1986 and1993. With Austria, he also reached thefinal of theEuropean Cup Winners' Cup 1977–78, losing 4–0 to Belgium'sR.S.C. Anderlecht.
He now runs a football academy, theHermann Stessl Fußballschule.
