Herinja Vas (pronounced[xɛˈɾiːnjaˈʋaːs];Slovene:Herinja vas) is a settlement in the hills north ofOtočec in theCity Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeasternSlovenia. The area is part of the traditional region ofLower Carniola and is now included in theSoutheast Slovenia Statistical Region.[2]
