Henry Sum Agong (born 18 February 1946) is a Malaysian politician who has served as theMember of Parliament (MP) forLawas since March 2008. He served as theDeputy Minister of Transport in theBarisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime MinisterIsmail Sabri Yaakob and former MinisterWee Ka Siong from August 2021 to the collapse of the BN administration in November 2022 and theDeputy Minister of Rural Development II in thePerikatan Nasional (PN) administration under former Prime MinisterMuhyiddin Yassin and former MinisterAbdul Latiff Ahmad from March 2020 to the collapse of the PN administration in August 2021. He also served asDeputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism in theBarisan Nasional (BN) administration under former Prime MinisterNajib Razak and former MinisterHamzah Zainudin from June 2016 to May 2018 and MP forBukit Mas from November 1999 to March 2008. He is a member of theParti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), a component party of theGabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) and formerlyBN coalitions.[1] He is the first deputy minister of theLun Bawang ethnicity in thehistory of Malaysia.

Having represented theBukit Mas constituency,[2] Henry Sum moved to the seat of Lawas for the2008 election, which he won with 92% of the vote.[3]
