Sir Henry Flemming Hibbert, 1st BaronetDL (4 April 1850 – 15 November 1927)[1] was a BritishConservative politician.
Hibbert was chairman of the Technical Instruction Committee of theLancashire County Council. He received the freedom and livery of thePlumbers′ Company in December 1902,[2] and was awarded aknighthood in 1903.[3]
He was elected theMember of Parliament forChorley following the1913 by-election and served until1918. He becamedeputy lieutenant of theCounty of Lancaster in 1915.[4] In 1919 he was created a baronet, ofChorley in the County of Lancashire,[5] which became extinct on his death.[1]
He died in 1927, aged 77, and was buried in Chorley cemetery.[citation needed]
Hibbert had married Marion Theresa Reuss (5 March 1851 – 13 September 1942). Their son, Cyril, was killed in action duringWorld War I.[citation needed]
