Henk-Jan Zwolle (born 30 November 1964 inEnschede,Overijssel) is a formerrower from theNetherlands and two-time Olympic medallist. He competed in three consecutiveSummer Olympics, starting in 1988.[1]
Zwolle andNico Rienks won gold in double sculls at the1991 World Rowing Championships inVienna.[2] The following year, they won a bronze medal in the men'sdouble sculls at the1992 Summer Olympics.[1] At the1996 Summer Olympics, he claimed the gold medal in themen's eight event with theHolland Acht (Holland Eight).[1]
He married fellow Dutch rowerTessa Appeldoorn in October 1998.[citation needed]
