Hendurabi (Persian:هندورابی)[a] is an Iranianisland in thePersian Gulf. Its name is derived from the Persian wordandar-abi (اندرآبی), meaning "inside the waters," i.e., an island. This is the native Persian word for the Arabic-derived termjazira, meaning an "island." It is located inHormozgan province, to the west ofKish Island and due south ofBastak. Administratively, the island is inKish Rural District,Kish District,Bandar Lengeh County, Hormozgan province, Iran.[5]
Handeh-ye Rabi is the only village in the rural district of theBandar Lengeh County. At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 79 people in 9 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 86 people in 21 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 191 people in 31 households.[2]
