Helreginn (Old Norse:[ˈhelˌreɣenː], "Ruler overHel" or "Hell-power") is ajötunn inNorse Mythology.

Name

TheOld Norse name Helreginn has been translated as 'Ruler overHel',[1] or 'Hel-power'.[2]Rudolf Simek comments that the name is unusual, reasoning that it is uncommon for a jötunn to be directly associated with "the underworld."[3]
