Hector Mark Pothier (born June 12, 1954) is a Canadian former professionalfootball player with theCanadian Football League (CFL)'sEdmonton Eskimos. After playingcollege football atMcGill University and atSt. Mary's University (Halifax),[2] Pothier spent his entire 12 year CFL career as anoffensive lineman. He was named CFL All-Star 2 times[3] and was a part of sixGrey Cup championship teams with the Eskimos.[2]
During his university career, he was known by his middle name, Mark, to distinguish himself from his father, who was also named Hector, but later decided to use his first name in his father's memory.[4]
