TheHayes site (3 AR 37) is anarchaeological site located next toBayou Meto inArkansas County, Arkansas. It was inhabited by peoples of thePlum Bayou culture (650–1050 CE), in a time known as theLate Woodland period.
The site consisted of fourplatform mounds with aplaza. The site has not been excavated butceramics typical of the Plum Bayou culture have been found at the site.[1]
