Hattie's Hat is a restaurant inSeattle'sBallard neighborhood, in theU.S. state ofWashington.[1]

Description and history

According toLonely Planet, "This classic old divey bar has been around in some guise or other since 1904."[2] The restaurant had a stint as a fine dining establishment.[3] The interior has murals of nature.[4]

The menu has many items with beets.[5] Hattie's Hat servesAmerican/New American cuisine such as a burger with Cajun spices,[6] smokedribs,[7] andgrilled cheese with a salad or yam fries on the side.[8] Forbrunch, the restaurant has servedEggs Benedict, a "flannel"hash withcorned beef and beets, Swedishpancakes, andBloody Marys.[9]

Max Genereaux has been the owner since 2009.[10][11]
