Hasratan (Persian:حسرتان)[a] is a village inGaramduz-e Gharbi Rural District[4][b] ofGaramduz District inKhoda Afarin County,East Azerbaijan province,Iran.

The village is populated by theKurdishChalabianlu tribe.[6]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 796 in 157 households, when it was inGaramduz Rural District[c] of the formerKhoda Afarin District inKaleybar County.[7] The following census in 2011 counted 887 people in 238 households,[8] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment ofKhoda Afarin County. The rural district was transferred to the newGaramduz District and renamedGaramduz-e Gharbi Rural District.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the village as 730 people in 227 households.[2]
