Haruko Tachiiri (たちいり ハルコ,Tachīri Haruko) (born 7 May 1949 inMeguro, Tokyo, Japan) is a Japanesemanga artist who writes mostlymanga for children. In 1979, she received an Excellence Prize from the Japanese Cartoonists' Association forPicola-picola,[1] and in 1984 she received theShogakukan Manga Award forchildren's manga forPanku Ponk.[2]
