Haruka Abe is a Japanese actress based in London.

Life and career

Born inNerima, Tokyo, Abe grew up in Tokyo,London andNew York.[1] She trained atRose Bruford College in South East London.[2]

She appeared inBBC'sIdeal as Miko,[3] and as Marti inSleepydog's science-fiction TV seriesSlingers directed bySteve Barron.[4] She also appeared in the video forClean Bandit's song "Rather Be"[5][6] which has gained over 770 million views on YouTube as of August 2024.[7]

In 2018, she became the new speaking voice ofNoodle from the virtual bandGorillaz.[8][9]
