Kokila Harshani Gunawardena (born 28 April 1974) is aSri Lankan politician, former provincial councillor andMember of Parliament.[1]
Gunawardena was born on 28 April 1974.[1] She is the sister of former provincial councillor Namal Gunawardena.[2] She was educated at Holy Cross College, Gampaha.[2] She worked forSriLankan Airlines.[2] She was theSri Lanka Freedom Party's organiser inMirigama.[2][3]
Gunawardena was a member of theWestern Provincial Council. She contested the2020 parliamentary election as aSri Lanka People's Freedom Allianceelectoral alliance candidate inGampaha District and was elected to theParliament of Sri Lanka.[4][5][6]
