Harro Bode (born 20 February 1951, inSobernheim) is a Germansailor and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in the470 Class withFrank Hübner at the1976 Summer Olympics inMontreal.[1][2]
Bode studied civil engineering and later became CEO ofRuhrverband [de], a large water utility in the west of Germany. He was appointed honorary professor at theUniversity of Hanover and published many papers about water science and water politics.
