Harqma is a soup or stew prepared usinglamb.[1][2] It is common in theMaghreb area of Northern Africa.[1][2] Harqma is often consumed duringRamadan, as a meal to break one's fast (sawm) after sunset.[1]Lamb's trotters are sometimes used as an ingredient.[1][2] It has been suggested that harqma originated from theMiddle Ages.[2]
