Harper Prism (1993–1999) was launched byJohn Silbersack, Publishing Director, in 1993 as the firstscience fiction andfantasyimprint ofHarperCollins Publishers in theUnited States.[1] Prism's earlyauthors includedStephen Baxter,Terry Pratchett,Isaac Asimov, andClive Barker as well as many media and gaming tie-ins such asMagic: The Gathering andThe X-Files.

When HarperCollins acquiredAvon Books in 1999, the Harper Prism imprint was absorbed into the AvonEos line.
