Harold William "H.W." Coyle (born February 16, 1952)[1] is an American author of historical andspeculative fiction and ofwar novels includingTeam Yankee, aNew York Times bestseller.[2] He graduated from theVirginia Military Institute in 1974, spent 14 years on active duty with theUS Army, and is a veteran of thePersian Gulf War.[3] Other pen names include H.W. Coyle. He has co-authored books withBarrett Tillman and Jennifer Ellis.
