Hans Simonsson (born 1 May 1962) is a retired professionaltennis player fromSweden. Primarily a doubles specialist, he won 11ATP Tour titles in his career. He won theFrench Open doubles title in1983 with his countrymanAnders Järryd. He also played in the1983 Davis Cup final forSweden. He reached his career high doubles ranking of No. 10 in the world on 2 January 1984. Simonsson again reached the French Open doubles final in1985, but he andSchlomo Glickstein were defeated byMark Edmondson andKim Warwick. The Swede finished his career prematurely at the age of 25.
He is a brother of fellow tennis playerStefan Simonsson.[1]
