Hannes Aigner (born 19 March 1989 inAugsburg) is a Germanslalom canoeist who has competed at the international level since 2006. He is a two-time Olympic bronze medalist.

Career

Aigner competed at three Olympic Games. He won a bronze medal in theK1 event at the2012 Summer Olympics inLondon[1] and again in theK1 event at the delayed2020 Summer Olympics inTokyo. He also finished fourth in theK1 event at the2016 Summer Olympics inRio de Janeiro.[2][3][4][5]

Aigner won four gold medals at theICF Canoe Slalom World Championships, one in the K1 event (2018) and three in the K1 team event (2010,2011,2022). He also won 10 medals at theEuropean Championships (2 golds, 4 silvers and 4 bronzes).[6][7][8]
