Hania Aamir[a] (born 12 February 1997) is a Pakistani actress who works inUrdu television and films. She has received several accolades including twoHum Awards and aLux Style Award. She began her acting career with thecomedy filmsJanaan (2016),Na Maloom Afraad 2 (2017) and subsequently began her television career withPhir Wohi Mohabbat (2017). These performances earned her theHum Award for Best Television Sensation Female.
Aamir achieved success with the commercially successful films the combat-warParwaaz Hai Junoon (2018) and the comedy punjabi filmSardaarji 3 (2025). She received popularity withMere Humsafar (2022) andMujhe Pyaar Hua Tha (2023) and gained praise for her head–strong portrayals in the romantic dramasAnaa (2019),Ishqiya (2020),Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum (2024) andMeri Zindagi Hai Tu (2025), for KMKT she received her firstLux Style Award for Best TV Actress.
In addition to acting, she serves as the ambassador for several brands and products. OnInstagram, Aamir is themost-followed Pakistani woman.
Hania was born on 12 February 1997 inRawalpindi, Punjab and comes from aPunjabi family with roots inMurree.[1] Her parents separated early in her life, and she was raised by asingle mother. Hania has spoken publicly about facingemotional trauma and financial difficulties during her childhood.[2][3]
She enrolled at theFoundation for Advancement of Science and Technology (FAST-NUCES), which is where she was studying when she auditioned for her debut film,Janaan (2016).[4] She later dropped out of college, citing her need to earn money to financially support her family.[5] She described herself as having been a "rebellious" student during her time in college.[6]

In 2022, Aamir portrayed Hala inMere Humsafar oppositeFarhan Saeed. Aamir has been described in the media, one of the Pakistan's most popular and highest-paid actresses.[26][27] She has featured in Hello Pakistan's HOT100 list in the "Headliners" category.[28] She walked the ramp for Zainab Chottani at the "Pakistan Fashion Week" in 2019.[29] She has also done various photoshoots for "Eid Collections" and for designers like Asim Jofa.[30][31] Aamir is a brand ambassador for several brands likeMaybelline New York andSprite.[citation needed] In 2022, Aamir was named the brand ambassador forPeshawar Zalmi in thePakistan Super League.[32] Aamir is the most-followed Pakistani celebrity onInstagram, surpassingAyeza Khan.[33][34] Aamir was placed 9th inEastern Eye's Top 50 Asian Stars of 2024.[35]
Following the2025 Pahalgam attack and the subsequent2025 India–Pakistan standoff, access to accounts of severalPakistani entertainers onInstagram wasrestricted within India. Aamir's profile was among those blocked for Indian users. During this period, a fabricated statement claiming she had appealed to thePrime Minister of India,Narendra Modi, circulated on social media. Aamir denied the quote and clarified through her Instagram Stories that she had not issued any such statement.[36]
