Hamza Koutoune (Arabic:حمزة كوتون; born 17 September 2006) is a Moroccan professional football player who plays as aright-back for FrenchLigue 2 clubAnnecy on loan fromNice.
Koutoune is a product of the youth academies of the Moroccan clubsRaja CA andMohammed VI Football Academy, before joiningNice's youth academy on 9 January 2005.[2] He debuted with the senior Nice side in a 2–0 loss toBenfica in a2025–26 UEFA Champions League qualifying match on 12 August 2025.[3] 11 days later, he made hisLigue 1 debut for Nice againstAuxerre.[4]
On 1 September 2025, Koutoune was loaned toAnnecy inLigue 2 for the season.[5]
Koutoune was called up to theMorocco U17 for the2023 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.[6] That same year he made the U17 squad for the2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.[7] In April 2025, he was called up to theMorocco U20s for the2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.[8]
