TheHamburg Football Association (German:Hamburger Fußball-Verband), theHFV, is one of 21 state organisations of theGerman Football Association, theDFB, and covers the state ofHamburg and some parts of southernSchleswig-Holstein.[1]

TheHFV is also part of theNorthern German Football Association, one of five regional federations inGermany. The other members of the regional association are theBremen Football Association, theLower Saxony Football Association and theSchleswig-Holstein Football Association.[1]
In 2017, theHFV had 181,233 members, 469 member clubs and 3,371 teams playing in its league system.[2]
