Khakim Kayumovich Fuzaylov (Tajik:Хаким Каюмович Фузайлов,Russian:Хаким Каюмович Фузайлов; born 12 August 1964) is aTajikistani professionalfootball coach and a former player who played as adefender. He works as an advisor with the Uzbekistani clubBukhara.
Fuzaylov made his professional debut in theSoviet First League in 1986 forPamir Dushanbe.[1] He played 1 game in theUEFA Cup 1993–94 forLokomotiv Moscow.
Fuzaylov started his managing career atFK Buxoro in 1998. In 2000–2002 he served as coach in FK Dinamo-Samarqand. From 2005 to 2011 he worked as scout coach inRostov andLokomotiv Moscow. In 2013 Fuzaylov was appointed by club as head coach ofLokomotiv Tashkent. Lokomotiv Tashkent leading by Fuzaylov finished 2013 season as runners-up afterBunyodkor. On 13 February 2014 he was fired from his post after Lokomotiv could not qualify to group stage of2014 AFC Champions League.
Following Tajikistans failure to qualify for the2019 Asian Cup, Fuzaylov resigned as manager.[2]
On 3 December 2018, Fuzaylov was announced as the new manager ofIstiklol.[3] On 27 June 2019, Fuzaylov resigned as manager after Istiklol to progress from the group stages of theAFC Cup, withAlisher Tukhtaev being appointed as Caretaker Manager in his place.[4]
On 23 December 2021, Fuzaylov leftDinamo Samarqand after getting them promoted back to theUzbekistan Super League.[5]
Fuzaylov's younger brotherRahmatullo Fuzailov is also a professional footballer.
