Gynophore

Agynophore is the stalk of certainflowers which supports thegynoecium (theovule-producing part of a flower), elevating it above the branching points of other floral parts.[1]

Plantgenera that have flowers with gynophores includeTelopea,Peritoma arborea andBrachychiton.[2]
