TheGulngai were anindigenous Australian rainforest people of the state ofQueensland. They are not to be confused with theKuringgai.
Gulŋay was one of theDyirbalic languages, and a dialect ofDyirbal.[1]
Norman Tindale set their lands at some 200 square miles (520 km2), situated around theTully River belowTully Falls, and the Murray River. Their southern border lay on the range aboveKirrama.[2]
