Guido Ugolotti (born 28 August 1958) is an Italian professionalfootballcoach and a former player,[1] current coach of theGozitan teamVictoria Hotspurs

Career

Ugolotti was born inMassa. As a player, he spent eight seasons (72 games, 17 goals) in theSerie A withRoma,Avellino andPisa.

Coach

After serving as youth coach atRoma for 12 years, Ugolotti started a head coaching career of his own atGela, then going on to stay in Sicily atAcireale. He successively served as head coach atSerie C1 clubsSambenedettese,Arezzo,Foggia andSiracusa.

In June 2011 he took his first head coaching role in theSerie B, accepting an offer fromGrosseto for the 2011–12 season.[2] He was dismissed from his coaching post on 30 October.[3] On 1 February 2012 he was recalled by the same team as head coach,[4] but on 14 May 2012 he was again sacked.[5]

On 15 October 2012, he was named new coach ofBenevento,[6] but on 18 January 2013 he was sacked.

On 16 September 2013, he was appointed to replaceEzio Capuano as new boss ofLega Pro Seconda Divisione clubCasertana, and guided the club to ensure a spot in the inaugural season of the unifiedLega Pro division, leaving his role by the end of the season.[7]

On 28 October 2014, he was named head coach of newly promotedLega Pro clubSavoia in place ofGiovanni Bucaro.[8]

After a short spell inFloriana, on 31 December 2019 Ugolotti signed a contract withVictoria Hotspurs until the end of the season.[9]
