TheGuideville Band of Pomo Indians is a Native American tribe of thePomo Indians of northernCalifornia.[1]

History

The tribe's origin is of the original settlers of areas inMendocino,Lake, andSonoma counties.

The tribe currently has 122 members.[1]

Other bands of Pomo include theLytton Band of Pomo Indians and theScotts Valley Band of Pomo Indians.

Point Molate Casino Project

In the 2000s, the tribe unsuccessfully attempted to build aLas Vegas-stylecasino atPoint Molate inContra Costa County.[1]
