TheGuidelines for the Definition of Managed Objects (GDMO) is a specification for definingmanaged objects of interest to theTelecommunications Management Network (TMN) for use in theCommon Management Information Protocol (CMIP).

GDMO to theStructure of Management Information for defining amanagement information base forSimple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). For example, both represent a hierarchy of managed objects and useASN.1 for syntax.

GDMO is defined in ISO/IEC 10165 andITU-T X.722.[1]
