TheGuernsey Cricket Board (GCB), previously known as theGuernsey Cricket Association, is thecricket governing body for theisland ofGuernsey in theChannel Islands.
It was founded in 1927, and later joined theEngland and Wales Cricket Board so theGuernsey cricket team could play in the 38 Counties competition.
Becoming an affiliate member of theInternational Cricket Council in its own right in June 2005[1] and became an associate member in June 2008.[2]
The Board is active in promoting the sport and in training players and officials.
Ashley Wright is the Head of Cricket and Andy Cornford is the Performance Director.[3]
Guernsey has theGuernsey cricket team that plays the annualInter-insular match againstJersey, a tournament started in 1957.
