Guarbecque (French pronunciation:[ɡaʁbɛk];Picard:Guérbécque;West Flemish:Gaverbeke) is acommune in thePas-de-Calaisdepartment in the Hauts-de-Franceregion of France[3] about 9 miles (14 km) north ofBéthune and 28 miles (45 km) west ofLille. The Canal d'Aire and the Guarbecque stream flow through the commune.[citation needed]
