Greve Strand (commonly also known simply asGreve) is aDanish town, seat of theGreve Municipality, in theRegion Sjælland. Its population is 45,883 (1. January 2025).[1]
Until the 1960s, the area was primarily agricultural: most businesses in town were concentrated along the coastal road "Strandvejen".
Greve Strand is located on the eastern side of theZealand island, not too far (approx. 25 km) fromCopenhagen and is a part of itsurban area.
