Greg P. Russell is an Americanre-recording mixer. He is a 16-timeAcademy Award nominated post-production sound mixer who has worked in the film industry for more than 40 years, contributing to over 235 feature films.[1] He is tied with songwriterDiane Warren for the individual with the most Oscar nominations without a single win.[2] He received Oscar nominations for his work onBlack Rain,The Rock,Con Air,Armageddon,The Mask of Zorro,The Patriot,Pearl Harbor,Spider-Man,Spider- Man 2,Memoirs of a Geisha,Apocalypto,Transformers 1,2 &3,Salt andSkyfall. Other nominations include 12CAS awards, twoBAFTA's and twoEmmys, with aDaytime Emmy Award win in1989.[3]
